hey 👋! i'm ryan, a third year cs student studying at ubc, previously also a ta @ ubc cs and software engineer intern at planview working on copilot, a multi-agent ai assistant integrated into planview's software product suite! i'm also currently building noteblock, a desktop note-taking app that focuses on a seamless offline/online block-based note taking experience with on-device AI features and cloud syncing. i'm incredibly passionate about building robust and efficient systems that make a difference, solving tough problems, learning fast, and having fun along the way! i take particular interest in applied AI/ML, backend engineering, data engineering, distributed systems, and infrastructure.
